tyake it no air con then.

Simons cab has the aircon and thus never came witha strut brace, I gavew him one I had spare. Tightens up the hadlign a lot.

Lest be honest how crap does the engine bay look compared to the 19? Very thats how crap.

Girly lookign motor mate, get different alloys on there the 16;s cost a fortune to cover.

goes well is that you tryign to pretend the 19 won't kick its arse?

well, the 2litre 19 wud kick its ass. but this is totally standard, and it still destroys my dads 1.8 valver in straight line drag.

as for the engine bay, its a lot easier to work on, smaller inlet man and air box. easy access to everything. got a plastic fuel rail and rocker cover as well! lol

When you throw air con in there theres no room. Simons needs a clutch and cambelt, need to whip the engine out to do the belt cos of the ac gear.

If it beats a standard 19 then the 19's shagged. Book figure is a second slower to 60.

actually its not according to autocar magazine. 2 19 16v's wer tested in `91, both recording 0-60 in the 9secs bracket. they wer unable to get it any lower on both occaisons. the megane coupe road test, put in 7.8 0-60 in the same magazine. both cars ran with a passenger and full tank of fuel.

Everyone on here knows that the phase one valver can do 0-60 in just over 7.2

I have driven the cab and pboth phases of 19, the 19s leave the megane.

Also autocar tested one at 7.2 seconds. Ren quote 7.2 for the ph2's.

ive got all the uk pulbished road tests and times for the 19 16v. and it never made 7.2 to 60 in autocar. quickest it managed was 7.4 in what car magazine where it came car of the year. if anybodies got any web space, il scan in the mag reviews. quite a good read
