dont think so.

they look pretty/shiny though, which is reason enough for me to want them.

cos them rods be more chunky and wont clear the inside of the crackcase

not a design flaw as such, as they are alloy and need to be chunkier than the iron/steel counterparts i guess. therefore machining the block to fit them is necessary.

and its not so much "daring" as just doing what is necessary to clear them.

shame about the lack of technical detail.
