Because the cost of networking as a whole is dropping, connectivity costs have done nothing but drop since the advent of the internet.

This is certainly nothing new, but you can't moan if your an NTL customer! BY do similar things now and then

i have just today decided to swap broadband supplier...i was with Wanadoo 512K for 28.99 but i have put in request for my MAC number so soon i should be swapping to TalkTalk 1MB for 14.99 unlimited....bit better

also mobiles....i current average out at about 40-50 quid a month so i thought time to change this...found a deal 3G network, new phone, 750 mins/month, and 150 txts/month for 14.99

rung orange to ask for PAC number, they give me the usual why u leaving...and ended up havin a new contract with them for 180mins/month and 100txt/month for 15...which suits me tbh...i dont need 750 mins would never use it...so im happy it saves me swappin providers etc...ooo get a new phone too...gone for one of them rugged 5140s the nokia ur meant to be able to bounce off walls etc...makes sense for me cos i wreck phones....they just dont stand up to my abuse! Very Happy

I have found with O2 that even threatening to leave doesnt work, they just stonewall you. When you upgrade, you have to pay for a phone that you can get for free with a new contract. You tell them youre just going to leave and take out a new contract, making more hassle for everyone and they still wont budge. wankers.
