it could have been, guy went flying backwards, prolly not looking properly and hit the pedestrian, pedestrian goes under the rear wheels and thats when the drivers feels a bump.
He stops at that point, looks out of his windows and mirrors and of course does not see anything, carries on going backwards for a couple more yards and feels the 'object' still bumping under the car, looks again, still does not see anything and decides to pull forward to check.
He does not pull forward enough so still cant see the guy, can't see anything else either so thinks fuck it and reverses again.
Opps there is that bump again, wtf is it?
pulls forward a lot further this time and sees the dude on the ground, gets out . .
it could happen that way, i've seen plenty of drivers on the roads who have hit things like those stupid little bollards at the rear of parking spaces, stopped, looked thru the rear veiw, cant see anything so pull forward and whack it in reverse again, hitting said bollard again! |
