Hi to every Renault fan in the world.
I have a renault 19(1.4 EJ6 Engine).A few days ago the oil level gauge(in the instrument panel),its light and the oil pressure light do not work. What`s probably the problem? A fault earth connection?Where is the earthing wire so to check it?

Thanks

the oil pressure switch wire will be broken.

If you run a wire from the oil switch to the brown connector plug in the aux fusebox this shoudl tell you for sure if the wires broken.

I have this on my ph2 exec cos I cannae be bothered to sort it properly!

It earths through the engine there is no earth wire.

Τhanks for your fast response. My 19 is ph1.The aux fusebox is the one in the engine compartment(driver`s side-inside the black plastic box).Is that right? The brown connector is only one or there are more in the same colour?
