 oil missing plug

hi changed oil/filter other day on pouring in half a litre went down plug holes plugs still in as i cant aim straight can somebody refresh what size plug socket is req to take them out.as started missing abit 1.4 E6J engine.

also recently had a quote to renew a rear arch/ arch cost15 pound /paint fitting labour all in came to over 400pound anyone recommend anyone pref yorkshire south ta

400 for a bit of welding go buy another car!

as for the plug 10mm plug socket halfords sell them.

Get paper towel and shove it down the plug well with a screwdriver to soak up most of the oil before taking it out.

Yeh funnels are good for oil pouring - especially if its one of the big ass 5 litre jobbies which you have to hold about 6 inches above the filler hole. If you are down Halfords they sell em too - tasteful bright orange ones at that! Very Happy
