Just got home from about a 45 min drive, and I thought me oil pressure guage was rather low in comparison to where it normally is when I get home. I know the pressure is lower on a warm idle, but I thought this was a bit too low?

Aye, t'was idling while I nipped into the house to get me camera, & the fan was on when I came back out......which was probably makin more heat than actually cooling it down!

fan wouldn't have kicked in yet if that was the temp climbing, doesn't come in to the 2nd line.

you must have a low temp stat and low temp fan switch, get rid of them and fit the proper stuff.

The car when driving should just be over the 1st line.

saying that i only drive 7 miles to work and back ,sometimes it does not even reach the first line .
on a proper drive on the m4 it stays on the 1st

I have got a low temp fan & switch yeah. Why should I get the 'proper' ones? Car runs a lot cooler now. Last time I showed a pic of my oil pressure, you all mentioned to me how high my temp guage was, and to get a low temp fan & switch, and now ur tellin me the opposite!

It doesn't usually go much over the 1st line. In that pic is probably the highest I've ever seen it actually, since fitting the low temp stuff. Just cuz the car was sat for a while.
