 Oily Spark Plugs

Changed me spark plugs today, and the 2 each end were really oily, but the 2 in the middle were dry as a bone. Hmmmm. Any ideas? I haven't long ago changed my rocker cover gasket cuz it was leaking slightly, so it's probably just the same shit down there from before like. Or could be piston rings a bit worn I spoze. Doh. Ah well, it starts & runs fine so I ain't worrying

how do you mean oily? as in oily on the top ceramic/metal bit that the leads connect to?

Oily on the threaded bit and the actual electrode on the end

thats oil that you never cleaned out of the wells properly.

yea we see that all the time in work 9 times outa 10 its the rocker cover gasket
