not mine thankfully, but my mum totalled the parents R19 last week. was a beige ph.I Chamade TSE (1721ccm engine) and I just got home from removing some bits and pieces. unfortunately we don't have storage for the car, so it remains with the dealer where they bought their new car (99 Laguna, nice car btw). they'll probably flog it to Eastern Europe.
the right front is damaged, including bumper, lights and hood. the impact also pushed the alt, rad and servo fluid reservoir back in, thus it's a non runner (alt belt sounds weird because it doesn't run freely).
thankfully nobody was hurt and once again it was proven that the 19 shell is quite rigid.
thanks to this I now have an original aerial on my car again, a new hazard light switch and a spare jack  I salvaged some other bits too, which I intend to flog of, notably various switches, lights (interior and exterior), a pair of wing mirrors, the instrument panel, the stalks and a Sony head unit as well as a ton of speakers (well six to be exactly).
interior looks like the car has been broken into so I doubt some Czech or Polish people will have fun with it. but the engine was still going strong and that's what matters |

agreed. I never even liked the beige interior in the 19 but then it wasn't my car
the Laguna was bought on short notice, still it's a fine and immaculate car. I would've looked round a bit more but my mum really needs a daily driver and currently she's using my red phase I hatch so I'm happy when I get it back in one piece  |
