i got my unlimited broadband 512kb plus unlimited landline calls from them ,it runs throught the bt line obviously .but its cheap as chips ,29.99 a month for all this ,bargain or what ?
they offer 20 quid off your bills if you recommend it to a mate and your mate gets the same amount if he joins .
so if anybody wants to join ,they are more than welcome to be recommended by me ,hehehe

NTL...750k broadband, phone and a big fat package of cable channels for £40 odd. i hate to admit it because NTL are a proper shitty company but....not too bad.

also, do ONEtel have a download limit? NTL technically do i think, but i cane it all day every day, sometimes 6 gigs a day, rarely less than 1 gig a day, they have never said a thing.

no limits what so ever ,thats why its a bargain matey .
and the calls to all u.k landlines are unlimited and free anytime

no they dont do that much ,i am personally not very much into tv so thats not a big loss .

yeah they do but thats just when you introduce them to someone new ,that person gets a 20 quid credit as well. you can introduce as many people as you want ,i did not pay for 2 months once . yes i have a few mates Smile

you can get 512 unlimited for less than that.

I have been sorting out our BB & phones recently, this is what I came up with:

BB
Tiscali 256K Unlimited for £15pm, free connection, free modem, 12mths subscription.
Still alot faster than dialup and for large files just leave it on overnight.

Phones
Had Ontel 10.99 unlimited calls and found a much cheaper option.
All landline calls 1p per call anytime.
So you have to make 1099 calls per month to make Onetel cheaper, some chance...
All mobiles 10ppm anytime.

This setup is possible by using three companies:

BT - 10.99pm
1899 - No monthly fee
18866 - No monthly fee

A programmable dialer box selects the cheapest carrier for the number called and the time of day, so you don't have to type in a code beforehand.

1899 and 18866 are pretty good, just a connection charge and then 0ppm to local/national numbers
