well there was plenty that he could have done.

for example not put that stupid pod thing in which is why it went up, looks like the boost gauge wiring directly into the plenum (at the back of the engine where the flames were) caught fire then spread it.

Anyway first thing batt dissconnected even if that means ripping the battery out of the car cos you have no tools.

If he had no juice etc in the car then his top would be off and use that to smother the flames.

Also leaving the bonnet and doors wide open basically feeds the fire, shut them and it'll either just smoulder or go out, not turn into the raging inferno that it did.

yeah eh did seem a bit simple when it came to tryin to put it out..he had a damn fire extinguisher, which he seemed to just be showing to the car rather than using it!!

makes me want to buy a little fire ext. tho to stick in the boot...id hate to sit back and watch my car go up like that
