i gotta sort my arches out....starting to look sorry for themselves.

i need hints and tips for blending the new paint in with the old...

i guess i rub down the area of rust, im gunna KURUST it...then do u just prime it and over spray the area of metal onto the area of existing paint...then top coats..rubbing them ll down inbetween...how do u finish it so that the new blends in with the old?

do i need a rubbin compound or jst very very fine wet n dry?

when i laquer do i rub that down too? or what?

cheer

the chamades rear arches are both holed above the skirt. PITA

Blending in means you have to spray a big area.

Anyway rub it down a decent size rub down to bare metal, Kurust it, prime it then give it top coats.

Sand it down a few times and juyst keep adding the paint. the more layers the deeper the shine.

Same for the laquer. Use 1200 grade to rub it down and water as well.
