me and the boy went there today for a spin....its about 45mins drive away from me...nice long clear A roads all the way...a great drive....good weather for it too.
the beach itself is pretty much as expected...a big fuck off beach...but it is fucking enormous!!
took some pics, nothin excitin as it is only abeach after all...but i think i got a good few i can patch together into a nice panoramic.
place was dead tho....its like butlins in the mddle of winter when its closed...lots of holiday caravan parks. funny tho, you got the beach then between the beach and the various caravan parks a huge stretch of land, the length of the beach, fenced off. all the fenced off area is marked "Danger! Firing Range Keep Out!"...nice. lot of MOD down there.
couldnt go on the beach as the ramps were closed off...i think in the summer theyopen it up but only to allow parkin on the beach...cant imagine they let anyone just drive on there and race around with kids playin and ppl walkin their dogs on there!
but only a tiny bit of beach was available...the MOD had cordoned off what looked like about 90% of the beach for some reason...
still was a nice drive to get there. |

ok...i didnt feel the need to explain myself but i shall....my camera will not connect to my pc anymore....i have to remove the card and take it to a laptop where i can pop the card in the side and remove pics like so....i do not have access to said laptop til tomoz. |
