I sold my 2001 Y reg clio with a years T+T with lower mileage and FSH for £3,400 which i thought was good. He'll be a lucky guy to get £3,500.

exactly! The clios a much better drive tbh!

I have to say i'm stumped on wether the clio or corsa is better though! The 3 cyl 1l corsa is especially impressive!

I've not driven the corsa. I did drive a 1.4 2003 206 for a couple of weeks. I quite liked it but the steering was very heavy and it handled like a JCB around corners.

Schacks, have you seriously bid for it because you want it or do you just want to kick start the bidding for your mate?

the 206 is a pretty car for pretty girls as are the other 2 I suppose. But its top heavy, to chunky feeling, driving position is awful theres no go etc.

I have not fdriven a petrol 206 on the HDi's which are the pick of the crop apparently.

I have also outhandled/accelerated the gti 180's in the 19. A poor crop of cars.

I am not a vauxhall man but the clio was impressive, boring dull crap interiort but the engine is willign and wasn't to bad on fuel. Its also faster then the new shape 1.2 puntos!

Now the punto isn't a great car!

Tell you whats surprisingly good the ford ka, based ont he fiesta so it should be good as the fezzers are good. If you can get over the looks and the lack of ommph its quite good, get it upo to speed and maintain it no matter what its a good drive.

I could never have a Ka for the interior alone. I sat in one for half an hour and had to stop myself puking all over the dash.

the interior on the clios crap as well. seats are liek park benches like most of them seem to be.

her megane is the same, the lagunas better but only cos it reminds me of a cavalier! lol

It reminds me of central command in a really shitey 60's sci fi film - the ka i mean. The clio dash was ok, your right about the interior. Mine was the mid-range expression, and i hated it for long journeys. Seats were feckin uncomfortable.

Looking at the ka picture above, it's even got a barf holder on the left Laughing - Ford were very considerate for passengers having to sit in the KA.

looks liek an egg was the inspiration for the centre console. is the dash top not fancy slashes or is that another ford I'm thinking of?

I can't remember and i don't have a better pic. The newest Ka models have got better dashboards, so at least Ford knew it was horrible.

I had a corsa 1.4 it was nippy, but I hated it, too small. Good MPG tho'. My Mum is talking about getting a Ka, I'm trying to talk her out of it coz I don't think I could go in it...there are two cars I absolutely loathe Micras and Ka's. I don't think I've ever got over the first Ka's when they looked like grasshoppers on wheels!

Would you loath the Micra that nissan built with the 350Z 3.5 V6 engine in the back? 310bhp
