can anyone actually name anything worthwhile thats an improvement over the ph1?

Leave looks out of it as thats down to taste.

I can't!

Only thing I would say is better is the softer ride and the airbags on late ones.

I can name plenty of things that are worse though.

digi clock is much better! low spec ph1's made do with the commoners clock.

Stalks are worse and prone to breakage.

Dials are the same aside from colour. The white is more tastefull than the 80's bling of the ph1 orange and green.

But theres nothing there to say this is the new improved version. Its a lot worse.

Poor metal it corrodes a lot more and a lot easier than a ph1.

the rear hatch has wires instead of contact plate, the wires break.

front grille set up traps water and causes rust.

Window switches are better and the drivers 1 touch is nice on the ph2.

Lack of digi dash means less toys.

ABS was an option for people that can't drive.

Ph2's still drip water onto the plugs although now where near as much.

Electrics seem to be worse as well.

Gay boot panel traps water and yep rusts the fucker out.

Having both a Phase 1 and 2 I would have to say that I prefer the drive of the Phase 1. Yes it's harder than the Phase 2 but It feels and looks a lot sportier. I also think that the crap design of the headlights on the Phase 2 lets it down enormously.

All in all though I don't find too many differances between the two but if the Phase 1 had the window switches in the door (like the Phase two) there wouldn't bet too much to debat on this subject.

Amber just drove the ph2 for the first time, she much prefers the ph1.

Also the ph2 headlights are utter shite.

well more to add to the we hate ph2 pile.

wiring looms utter fucking bollocks.

plastic trim utter fucking bollocks, thats the other front indicator broken itself and hanging out.

they break themselves sitting doing nothing!

Engines just started tapping as well, was quiet now a lifters piped up.

ph1 19. leave for months on end, it will start up, be quiet and work, things don't just break for a hobby.

I have now owned my first ph2 and now remember why I never owned one before.

its not stereo typing, I see them all the time in knackered states, look at your old one or hannas!

when you think about it, I defended ren for years saying they are better than what people think, its true for ph1 19's only it would seem.

You look at the clios, cheap ass shopping trolleys that like to rot and are, well built down to a price with cheap bits, wiring and so on, ph1 19's solid don;t tend to rust etc, ph2's just like clios, meghanes utter balls, they rust as bad as ph2 19's do. Lagunas, better but have scant undersealing..

New cars, riddled with faults and shoddy workmanship.

Citroen are better built tbh.

Not counting the front end of my old one ALL of your ph1s have much more rust than it. That white one is a piece of shit and i assume nobody is saying so cos they know you're trying to sell it

Admittedly hannas arches need sorting and the matrix needs changing but its mechanically sound. 125k and its only missed a beat due to her neglect and she'll freely admit that!

You're talking rubbish

how is it a rusty heap?

only rust on it is the back arch and the bit under the rear light.

hannas is a lot rustier than my white one and your blue one was away at the bottom of the arches, the seam in the arch itself where the boot floor meets the seat base panel had corroded and lost the lip where the 2 panels are spot welded together.

Also both the blue one and the grey one your end are slower than the white chammy, mopre so the grey one as your blue one despite the diesel box seemed faster than hannas.

I won't sell the white one to anyone on here anyway as they are all time wasters with big mouths, only cars anypone on here are intrested in are under 50 quid shitters which the white car is not.

When that white chammy first came on the scene it didn't have any arches at all and the rear pillar repair...i don't wanna be looking at that in a few months. Its probably faster than ours cos theres less metal Rolling Eyes

Theres only one person here with a big mouth and its you, you fucking rubbish everyone into the ground just because they don't agree with you, it sickens me.

it didn't have any arches ate all? what are you talking about? the rear offside arch is the only arch thats ever been a problem and its the sdame now as it was when George got it.

The rear pillar is doing just fine actually. Shapes bang on and its been closely inspected by Alan, Roddy and Iain.

Neal, JB, Doc, Ben etc have all seen the white car and they have seen it up close, they can confirm only the rear arch on the drivers side has been affected by rust.

You seem to be the only one thats not been made a ph1 convert, why i don't know, but neals changed over and he was a die hard ph2 man.

How do I rubbish everyone? I state the facts.

You have a pretty big mouth yourself.
