this little beastie head unit I had for so long.

Single slot loading cd player. 4x50watt, RDS etc etc, got it at a bargain price of 140 quid from bassjunkies.com when it was 200 in halfords.

Anyway this radio gave very clear if a little on the bright side musical output. had a very good tuner.

lots of features which were handy.

With the pioneer speakers I had it pumped out quite well too. Mark, Soneji, Rusty etc will confirm this.

My sister has its baby brother in the shape of the DEH 3000R or something, its ok but is 4x45 watts and only has a grey screen whilst the 3400R has a multi coloured screen.

Yeah my Mrs has got one (can't remember the model number, has the proper EQ and everything)
sounds very good.

I used to have the motorised all singing all dancing one with the fancy picture graphics. It was the first one they did (before dolphins) think the pictures were like a satellite orbiting or summat.

Anyway I got it for £250 and it was £500 in Halfords. Sounded fantastic and my sister now has it in her 106. (5 years later)

I on the other hand have a rather shitty Sony basic plasticy silver thing.
