might buy that, as i need one to get the brakes done.

unions are siezed on, so plan is to hacksaw through the pipes get the regulating valve off, take out unions flair up the remaning cut pipe and wack it back together.

anyone know if that kit is any good?

i dont as it goes

was using 11mm spanner to see..but as soon as that started to round the union a bit i decided to call it quits for now.

no room under there either!

once the pipes are hackedsawed off, ill undo the bolts that hold the reg on and remove the lot. as i have a replacement one to go onas current one is knackerd

might pop down to halfords and get a flaring kit and a spanner at same time.

They should make them out of something harder than chocolate

yeah it worked in the end after many attmepts, the pipe getting shorter and shorter each time.

Just takes practice... lots of it. Fractionally too much or too little sticking out and it fucks the flare up completely. After a while you get used to the exact amount you need sticking out to get it right. Even then, half the time it fucks it up anyway just for the hell of it.
