at least it sounds like wheel bearing....frt passengers.

that bloody annoying "drone"...altho it has come on very quickly...started new yrs when i drove swansea to london and back...now a few weeks later it is much worse (quick!) drove swansea to newquay this weekend...its terrible

got a rumble to it as well...so is it possible it could be CV joint? they are pretty knackered as it is...usual knocking goin round corners under load.

this drone/rumble (brrrrr) stops the noise when turning right, ie putting load on the passenger wheel....
got a spare driveshaft i can swap in easy

bah

same as mine then..

all tho it gets louder if i turn right, and quieter as i turn left...

plus knock on full lock

so CV joints shall be looked at.

but to lazy to do anything about em atm Sad

drone only starts from about 40, gets louder as i get faster.

did have 2 new drive shafts put on in september :/

when you load up a worn component it makes more noise. If the noise goes when you turn right the right wheel has no load so the noise should stop.

Noise transfer in cars. A lot of the time the noise may be from the back etc.
