after having the rad placed on the 19...everything was running fine

however a month on after daily use the valver got parkrd up for about 2weeks..

started it up everything ok but noticed the main rad hose is not hard when its been running for a while its easy to squeeze this does mean it is not pressurising??

you should be able to squeeze the hoses.

If they get hard, you have to much pressure and cause is probably that have a leaky headgasket... so squezable is fine!
