There seems to be quite a lot of cheap induction kits/filters on ebay and i'd like to know if anyone has got or tried one before.

Normally i'd assume cheap = rubbish but *sweeping statement* one cone filter is much like any other and i'm certainly not going waste 80odd quid for a 'known' brand when it's just going on an icle 1.2!

Is it just a case of 'paying for the name' with the known brands??

Opinions...

they do the job.

obviously no ik will ever filter as well as a paper element but thats life.

Thats what i thought - IMO it wouldn't take a genious to make one thats as good as the known brands...for 20 odd quid you can't really argue anyway...

thanks!
