tie up a piece of long string and pull by hand when needed to take over/speed up Laughing

well it was the outer cable that went, so i used a load of masking tape to make a makeshift outer cable, but i had no engine braking!

inner on mine went and was stuck on full throttle as few times.

It was at Soneji's, I had to cut the frayed bits away in order to drive the thign the 60 miles home.

there was 3 strands of wire holding it.....

when mine went on my old valver I rigged up a hand throttle cable with some string and pulled it through the window!, was fun crawling in traffic haha

I did that with me TD....a spare fleece and some string Smile Snapped about 3 times on the way home though....

i was tempted to do a rally style, i sit under the bonnet contoling the throttle whilst mum steers! and do the gears
