If its coming on brightly and not flickering/dimming with revs check the fuses before you go changing an alt! |

Comes on after a while when I rev above 5-6k it goes outh, then back on again, Car would not start earlier on today, checked earths, starter, battery, all OK, so Alternator it is. I know I can get a diode? soldered onto original alternator, my mate would do it, but it will take time , so a lovely cheap second alternator it is!  |

Its just taht i went and replaced an alt one day and it turned out to be a fuse grrr |
