Hi,
Has anyone any idea if i can get cheapo replacements for both the front window regulators, well they arnt working too well so ipresume this is what is reqd to be replaced or can the electric motors be motified to do manual? At the moment they are sitting about 2 inch's from the roof and are being held up with wood that i have stuck in the door, not very convienient and bloody cold as well.

The heater motor was replaced as it wasnt working to well, it works perfect now except like before i changed it the heat is only lukewarm at best, whats the matter here then?

Has anyone stuck on a cheap enough but half decent alarm to one of these, it has remote central locking from the key, it has an immobiliser in the glove box which came with no operating key but at a cost of £26 i have ordered a new barrel and key to swap over.

A repiar kit for the hood, usual tears and the clear screen allthough surprisingly not ripped it isnt very well stitched to the cloth, it is very hard to stitch it normally so any ideas ref glue perhaps?

Thanks for all replies i really do appreciate it.

the front regulators are the same on all 3 door 19's so get down the scrappies. If its just the motor then you can get the motor from a 5 door if thats the only one you can find then fit the motor to your existing regulators. But no theres no aftermarket straight fitting regulators.

You have the infamous trapped air in the heater matrix. Do a search on this.

Any decent alarm fitted properly will do the job but it will not be certified. But you can get the car CAT 2 immobilised for about 200 quid and cat 1 alarmed and immobilised for about 300. The renault immobiliser is a detterant at best for the 12 year oild joyrider and its not certified in any way.

No repair kits but you can have it repaired, if you look in classic ar magazines they have good places advertised, so have a look when your next in WH Smiths.
