 now you have video proof it can be done. I was shocked at how poor the Audi was. Or how quick the R19 is. smoked him.

The 20v's haven't got great take-off acceleration but once up to about 50ish they'd leave the 19 sitting

i found in my only real race with 1 the 19 was quicker above 110mph.

That was agaist a cupra, he managed to get to 140 though.

Amber humped a 130 td golf a while back, he was not amused at all! her 90bhp megane beast out dragged him from 80 to 110 ish.

Heavy or not they still get to 60 in under 7 seconds and do over 150mph!

The Leon cupra r is quite heavy just under 1.5 tons but they go like shit off a shovel. 0 - 60mph in just under 7 seconds and a top end of about 140 ish. That will take some beating. and i think they use the same engine as the Audi TT and the Audi S3. I think a modded R19 16v could beat it through traffic as the leon is a tad on the tubby side.

That's cos they make 150bhp IIRC and if you compare a Golf of that generation with your Clio you'll find there's a massive weight differential!
