quite nippy carb tends to boil up as it sits on top of the exhaust manifold. pretty robust not really any tuning parts for it 0-60 about 9 seconds same as a xr2 heaps better than the 1.4 ohv engine normally found in a 5 Very Happy why you want 1?

Well i've just got a 1.2 Phase 3 clio atm and fancied buying something for a bit of fun...theres a '87 damaged repairable one not far from me with only 15k on the clock which got my attention.

0-60 in 9 seconds isn't massively quicker than my 1.2 tho...thought it'd be a bit less...i'll probably be better and cheaper ripping the interior out of mine and lowering it a tad....

Eh - how? Confused

Fair enough, need the bumper/wings/bonnet sorted but 15k miles since 87 is pretty good...and for a 100quid isn't breaking the bank
