on tv this time. anyone follows sports car racing or open-wheelers?
there were two 24h races last weekend, the famous one at Le Mans and the Nurburgring one.
one of my all-time favorite drivers, Colin McRae, came home in 3rd place of his class (GTS) at Le Mans. he was driving a Prodrive Ferrari 550. they couldn't beat the Corvettes though.
the Nurburgring race was won by the monster BMW M3 GTR (V8 engine). that car is absolutely gorgeous. |

what channel is all this on? i only got normal tv and freeview so i dont get much...
i used to always have motors channel on over mates when they had sky digital...it was mostly nascar and sometimes top fuelers which is just awesome! |

the 24h at Le Mans were covered by Eurosport. the other 24h were probably not shown live outside of Germany because of the clash with Le Mans. |
