What engine did they use then? The F7P? Or something completely different?

Sounds like a lot of work would be needed to get that sort of power from an F7P!

yeah was the 19 engine and yeah probably about 20-30 grand an engine but then it was a works car.

and if its like the alfa 156 turing tcar engines where i used to work built, they needed rebuilding after 2 race meetings.

yea, tom ferriers lost a valve in a race and that was rattling round inside the bore for a lap!

indeed, those engines i think were around 280bhp, cant remember exactly, was like 2 years ago since i saw one of those engines
