Off to look at it tomoz.

he said anything up to 1k

only problem is the sodding bleeper button for the central locking dont work.

off to see in a mo,

mind you, its still only £370 on ebay

so dont know weather to offer him the money or stick with ebay.

but knowing ebay as per usual, last hour or so it will rocket up.

but then..it might just not, and seeing as there is no reserve...

so in 2 mind what to do, make him an offer, and get it, there and then.

or stick with ebay, and possibly get it cheaper, but lter on.

bearing in mind friday is the only day i can get there.

went to see it

tis in rather spanking nick!

but for some reason, no where near as quick as my old ph1 was.

just didnt seem the have that pull to it.

faults = blipper key dont work, but central locking dose with the door

and drivers side passanger leccy window dont work either..passager side one dose.

tiny bit of rust on arches, hardly noticble.

part from that, no other faults...made a change to drive a car with out such a agreesive clutch :p

but i had gotten used to mine.

well unless im missing something, even if he'll take £800, thats still a fair bit too much if youre 'super super skint', unless my definition of 'skint' is somewhat different to yours Smile

right then, its on ebay at the mo for £370 with just under 2 days to go.

keep an eye on it and wait, no bidding!

set yourself a limit and don't go over it, if you are prepared to pay £800 for it stay there.

if she goes over £800 on the auction, oh well, another will soon come up.

right last 30 seconds of the auction, could still be at £370 may be higher, u bid your £800 (if it's not gone past that of course)
you bid £800 cos thats the max u will pay for it.
u could get it for £400, u could get it for more but you could also get it for a lot less than £800!

i never bid on auctions until the last 30 seconds and always set myself a limit, like i said, if u dont win, another is gonna come up

To be honest, it's still an M reg clio. Yes it's tidy, but there is no blody way I'd be paying over £450 for it considering you can buy a valver for the money he is asking

Please explaine?? Embarassed

I understand that clio's hold their value better, however I was refering to a 16v Clio not a 19.

There are plenty of M reg clios going round in the freeads and autotrader for less and in as good nick. However if you realy like it go for it. it's definatly a nice one. Wink

i alredy have insurance on a 1.4 RT clio.

due to me wrecking my last one. wich id rather not talk about as it pisses me off to extreams.

insurance on a valver clio is to much.

besides, ive never seen a semi decent one for less then 900 odd mate.

i was planning on keeping the RT for a while, before i flogged it.

so hence me wanting a decent one..and for the fact of it being decent.

i dont have the space to do any more projects, so i cant get a crappy one and make it a gooden from the parts off my old one,

unless i take it to my nans, but that garage is full of junk atm

so stuck for things.

besides i cant travell very far to look at the cheap clios due to me being off the road.

Gutted.

I wrecked my M reg 19 16v 3 days after I brought it. Fookin subaru. So I drove my 1.4 energy about for a bit till some blind grandad totaled it.
At least the insurance claim paid for the new valver.(not that that did me any good) it's always off the road.

If your stuck, I can source some nice one's from the area and send picks.
unless you've set your heart on this one.

i agree him roger ,why dont you just wait till the last minute of the auction and snipe it.
if you dont get it ,you still have cash and look for another one , i have seen k/l reg 1.4 clios under 400-500 quid in need of a little tidying ,why pay more and still have the little annoying problems with it while you can buy one cheaper with more or less the same problems
remember any second hand car you wil buy will have/develop problems

plus you have a spare clio to use for bits
