Just wondered if it would be possible to take a clio RT or similar with crappy rear drums setup and fit a 16v rear beam/hubs.

How straightforward/possible would this be?

And would the narrower rear arches of the non-16v models cause problems?

Cheers

Well have a read of my progress report on the prima. I did the job on the 1.4 19.

The extra track, dunno, how much wider is it? Might get away with it fine or may have to roll the arches, but it will probably limit rim width unless you get the wider arches. The 16V arches are not much wider though.

You can either fit the bias valve or not bother with it.

On the 19 I decided to leave it out, I did this for ease of plumbing mainly and ther fact I like rear braking effort.

Most bias valves will be seized by now anyway so most shoudl also be open so th erear s get full effort. Try and get a drive of one and see what you think.
