Hi.

On my rear disks I have an area near the outer most edge of the disc that is about 1cm deep that is a layer of rust. Basicaly the last 1cm or so, there is a band or rust around the disc. This causes the pads to rub on it and cause a biatch of a noise. Do i need new rotors? Or can they be cleaned?

Also, does this sound like a dodgy oil pressure sensor; Most days, cold idle will be 2.2Bar, but the last two days has been 3Bar. When it idles at 2.2 bar and I rev it upto say 2k, the pressure will go up and then sit at 3Bar, then slowly go back to 2.2.

But when driving when it's cold, no matter what the cold idle was, it'll be 4Bar at 2k and then 5Bar at 3k. Doesn't seem to add up.

Also the best it will idle when warm is 0.2 Bar and sometimes 0, yet hold the revs at 1.5K and it'll be anywhere between 0.5 and 0.8/1 Bar.

Either a dodgy BE or sender? Would using a thicker oil help?

What you guys reckon?

Cheers.
