One of my rear drums has decided to lock solid. I've got the hubnut off however the drum refuses to shift. Any tips of moving it?

Cheers

if its locked solid its going to be near impossible to get the drum off.because the shoes are gripping the drum, and if they can stop a car from rolling, what chance have u got! onless its not the shoes stopping the drum. wheel bearing siezed?

Nah, i think its the shoes, well, it seems to just be one of them...3/4 of the drum seem loose, it just held on in one place.

yeah, big hammer and lots and lots or persistance got it off. the shoe lining on one of the shoes had come off and jammed the other. Now i need ot figure out how to change them. Got lucas/girling front calipers, I can assume their lucas rear drums?

Can be either or Evren.

I have seen some 1.8's run the 180mm drums but 1.2 clios with the 203mm ones!

Whatever was in the pallet beside the production line.

Got a set of 4 203's for 22.99. Bought a fitting kit too and what on the car doesn't look too healthy....god knows when the shoes were changed last.
