the one i got off my scrap car im going to fill the voids up with polysulphide rubber stuff we use at work. That'll sort it. Twisted Evil

it is stiffer for a short while but the mounts still break.

I have tried chopped up ruber from old mounts held in with tiger seal, plain tiger seal, normal gen purposebathroom sealant, none of them work.

Tiger seal is what bonds in windscreens btw.

the stuff i am thinking of is 2 part rubber used for bonding in aircraft windscreens. Dispensed into an air powered gun by a big machine which beats the 2 parts together. Takes 8 hours in a hot room to cure fully but when it has, its very, very tough but still flexible.

Worth a try anyway.
