Will the 19 become a classic? I don't think they'll become a true classic but I think they'll be one of those cars that people remember fondly as tehy do the 21 Turbos. Sort of like a car that they remember wanting when they were younger but for some reason never actually went out and purchased. My friend Allan who has an Evo V at the minute came out for a spin in ours and he said he regretted not buying one after he stacked his 220 GSi as he was always getting beaten by them.

The Clio 16v is a good car to if i'm being honest but they're 10 to the penny these days and it's hard to find one that's not been Barry'd up. The 19 seems to have had a lucky escape in comparison.

I can drive my 16v chamade all day and not see another one
it feels like you are actually in control when driving it unlike these cars with dsc, traction control, ABS ect that seem a bit detached from the road
if you see what i mean

I've seen 3 today without even leaving my front garden! A tungy grey ph2 hatch drove past me as i was taking the gearbox out of my chammy, a black ph2 cabby which lives in the street next to mine went past later followed by a red ph2 hatch owned by this blonde lass that i've seen loads of times round here.

I know of 3 more ph2 cabbys, 7 ph2 hatchs and a couple of ph2 chammys that are all local to me, there is a white ph1 chammy on the other side of town thats only done 30,000 miles and looks almost brand new owned by this old boy who has given me first refusal on it when he comes to sell it and a ph1 hatch that i've seen about.

I work in london and see at least one r19 valver every day, shame that i see them whilst they are driving or i would have flyered them.

I also have a Pug 206 s16 2 lt.

Well the wife drives it most of the time.

(Do'nt crash it).

When I get to play with it (without the wife). Its like a Clio in the way you go into a hard corner on the front end and the back slides around.

The 19 uses all four wheels.

So in the wet the 19 is like the Clio in the dry, and the Clio has spun into the ditch.
