i was travellin to north wales a while back with a mate....nice long a roads all the way so we were havin fun nippin along

then the road suddenly narrows by a railing sort of thing...and a feckin big truck is coming the other way...

for a split secong i had vivid visions of the car being crushed between the two...it was that horrible feelin of oh my god im gunna crash!!!!

it was beyond stoppin it was fully commited...just kinda shut my eyes...my god how we got thru there i will never ever know there must have been about 1 inch per side....bearin in mind this was at about 50mph

we just looked at each other for a few seconds then pissed ourselves

Any of you fellas been up Kirkstone Pass!!,

I've been up Kirkstone pass...

PH2 R19 1.4. 3 lads, 3 days supply of beer (100 440ml cans I kid you not) + camping gear, 3 days supply of food, clothes etc... couldn't get out of first all the way up that bleeding road.

I think thats where my clutch problems began Wink

Yeah, must have only been going at 5mph!!! Was going so slow the cyclists were passing him going up-hill.

Addie, if your gonna go up Kirkstone pass again, just get out an push ya car, it will save your clutch!!! Smile
