right i have just changed one on my top mounts and will be doing the other side tomorrow or wednesday.
On the side i have done the spring and shock looked ok but will probably need replacing in the near future.
What i would like to know is wheather to replace them with standard shocks and springs, or change them to something like Koni

Nothing wrong with the OE setup plus it has the added bonus of being cheaper to renew.

Going for aftermarket suspension all depends on what you are going to do with the car, wether you are going to use it on trackdays or want to lower it etc.

my old blue hatch was lowered on koni suspension. The ride was awful, especially on 17"s. Long journeys were a nightmare.

Probably would have been good on a track though.

yours wasn;t to bad neal, was better after yo ubacked the rears off a lot!

But main issue is, the splitter and bumper gets caught on the roads at standard height, lowering it is asking for trouble these days.

no my chammy has adjustable AVOs, i mean the old hatch, that had yellow konis front and rear, and lowered about 35mm. Nasty, nasty ride on 17s.
