Hi all, iv been on this project for about 4 months now and iv finaly finished so i hought i would share the pics that i took

i rescued the car from a scrap yard which cost me £125, the front passanger side had a smack and the head gesket blew when i drove it home, so i had quit a bit of work to do, i also lost my job that week so funds were very low.

i rebult the head and put on a new gasket and done the breaks, i could not really aford to buy 2pack so i sprayed it with garage door paint from hammerite i just added some hardner and it worked fine no probs

i wanted to put on a bore exhaust but i couldent afford that so i used a co2 bottle from a mig welder with the original back box and took out the box on the centre of the main exhaust

did some work for a mate in exchange for some of his old r19 td bits ,side skirts, spoiler, front and back bumper.

so take a look at the pics alltogether that car has cost me around £250 thats including the car

lol 125 is a bit steep for a scrappy car.

Anyway am I right you live near to me? irvine? or is that someone else?

The chamade that I had in that prog report is up for sale at the min, I can give details if ye want. Aroudn the same price as that 1.7 you have been offered.

A boy hey!!

Only time i ever got called boy was when i used to get caught doing something naughty like throwing the rotten tattis over the back wall of our old shop!!

The local planning office was behind us and the chairman came around around and said.

Quote:

" Wheres your boy?? Ive just been into the boardroom and found this rather large King Edward on the table"

Needless to say id smashed the window of the board room with a tatti!
