Does the Renault Twingo come with a 1149cc D7f engine thats found in Clios???

It might have later in life but it was always the 1.1 C type pushrod lump in them

yes the 1.2 Diet engine is the only lump I know of thats in them.

Can twingos be bought outside of france? I don't think I've ever seen one in Ireland....but then I never see anything Confused

yeah suppose it was, for some reason I thought 1994 like a mongo.

But you see a few of them about and when I have a nosey they have the diet in em.

Chet used to be a renault franchise, now a rover one.

I assume they can be colm, theres a few uk registered ones about glasgow I see now and again.

theres heaps of twingos in places like germany, etc.. also, theres quite a few here in denmark.. cant be imports.. no idea what engines they run, tho.. Smile

lots of 19's here .. mostly 1.4's and mostly hatches, too.. few F-block ones, and very few valvers... i would estimate something like 50 valvers tops in total... usually "car people" (ppl like you and i ;-) import valvers from germany, if we need one, coz normally there arent really any for sale here.. love my valver and will prolly keep it for as long as it'll go..

in the uk they are imported by a guy in wales but there still lhd Laughing I quite like the look of them there different

here are some pictures of tTwingo (with 1.4T engine from GTT). it has T25 turbo, running at 1.3 bar (19psi) Laughing

and as i've mentioned this Twingo, i'll post some pictures of very interesting car, that was made in the same garage (MRC - Medved racing cars) as this twingo.. ..and this is Zastava Fičo with 1000ccm Abarth engine and huge T4 turbo Twisted Evil. this car have aproximatly 170HP, but its not finished. it still need some fine tuning of MS and ignition and some other components.
