My unions are on like they are welded and will not budge. I can leave as they are but was hoping to fit braided front hoses.

Has anyone ever replaced their front copper pipes? Guess it just takes someone with the knowledge to bend a new pipe as per original.

Been quoted £100. Does that sound about right?

If thats both copper pipes supplied and fit then i'd take them up on it cos it'd be a dirty pain in the ass to do

I do it all the time.

I will beat the £100 quote though!

But if you want to save the hassle, get a blow torch and a brake pipe spanner. They always come off after a blow torch roasting.

Yeah its for both so will take them up on it. Thought it woulde be a pig as couldn't get the fronts off myself. So got place to do it with PAS fluid change and brake fluid change at same time.

Thet only used about a quarter of a litre of brake fluid and half a litre of PAS fluid during change. Does that seem right?

Just rang them and they used their own fluid 1st so guess tehy did use enough brake fluid.... Was worried then as I had 5.1 in before and now has Dot 4. Didn't want a mixture.....
