Well some are called "driving lights" apparently, and are fine to have on at all times, but they look like foglights. Foglights are meant to be too dazzling to other drivers unless it's foggy. The lights on R19's are fog lights no matter if they're clear or yellow I think? That's what the symbol on the switch to turn 'em on suggests anyway. But as usual, I got no idea Very Happy

My mate got pulled over i his punto Laughing when he had his front fogs on. They fined him £20!!! Dunno if that was for owning a punto or for having his fogs on Cool

you are only allowd to have your fog lights on when . . its foggy.

at all other times they must be switched off.

from the highway code

201: You MUST use headlights when visibility is seriously reduced, generally when you cannot see for more than 100 metres (328 feet). You may also use front or rear fog lights but you MUST switch them off when visibility improves (see Rule 211).
Law RVLR regs 25 & 27

211: You MUST NOT use front or rear fog lights unless visibility is seriously reduced (see Rule 201) as they dazzle other road users and can obscure your brake lights. You MUST switch them off when visibility improves.
Law RVLR regs 25 & 27

Yeah Si, that's what I understood the rules were. I know you aren't meant to have 'em on in decent conditions. But that don't stop all the boy racers around here Rolling Eyes

I always see this silver peugeot 106 around here that has got GREEN foglights on constantly.....I mean.....fuck sake. Oh, and now he's upgraded to pink neons underneath the car aswell!!

I just wish I was that cool Crying or Very sad

fog lights ???? round here there for spotting fox's must be we don't get much fog unyet people drive with them on all the time therefore they must be fox lights. Driving lights are used in conjuntion with main beam aka rally aux lights, not to be confused with fox lights.

Got to say it...I hate people that drive around with fog lights on when there's no fog, it's a pet hate of mine. Don't they realise how dazzling they are??? Evil or Very Mad
