parrallel you fool, you'll kill us all with that sort of electronics knowledge!

In seires the lights would get 6V each (when the engines running closer to 7V each), in parrallel they both get battery voltage but half the current.

Anyway why? Don't me your gettign 2 up 2 down cibbies...

quite like the phase 1 style look of it without the strip there actually...apart from the gaping holes in the tailgate.

twin rear fogs are not normally supplied by manufacturers, Do you know why? Cos due to the vechile construction thingy it has to have a certain wattage 20W and it is preffered to have only 1 rear fog so it is clear what it is.

Sad but true.

On ph1's all you do is poke the blank out on the light unit and stick in a bulb, job jobbed

im using the bulb holder out of my other car

the hole is blanked off on the spare side of the panel, but you can just cut it away, the little clips are there underneath.

where is the foglight on the phase 1? in the clusters?

i hate cars with only one reverse light by the way, especially if its a fog light on the other side so one side has red the other side has white.. GAH!

i've done the same on my phase 2, i bought a new reflector strip for it from ebay so used the fog light housing from the orginal and wired it up in parallel.

Looks so much better with 2 fog lights in it, looks right if u know what i mean, always looked as if one light has blown when you only have the standard one fog light in the strip.

hiw did you get the housing out of your old one? its fitted in from the inside, then the transparent bit seems to be moulded/glued on.

2 flat head screwdrivers, it is purely a clip fitting, 2 lugs, one either end of the bulb holder and u should see 4 grooves, 2 at the top, 2 at the bottom where u can slide down a flat head screwdriver, i just unclipped one end lug using a flat head, then same end with a flathead in top and bottom groove and prised it out.
