Would kent cams /pullies from a clio 1.8 16V fit R19 F7P? I know that they should just swap over but not too sure.

you see this is why your an idiot George. You will get the engine running then later strip it down again when its its most awkward then fit that stuff.

Not really, would much prefer to get the engine running and the car MOT'd then spend a weekend fitting them instead of spending quater of a grand when I don't even know if the lump has proper compression etc. Makes perfect sense to me.

You stupid wee man? I don't even know if the lump is going to run proper yet, without splashing out on shit it don't need. A lot of good cams and pullies are going to do me when the engine is goosed.
