same here bb, theres only 1 rocker cover gasket so what the feck were you looking at?

Also over 7% co, fpmsl, limits 0.5%

Does a CO of that level indicate a shagged engine?

If you taka the rocker cover off, you see both cams, which are kinda in their own little 'compartnments' if you like. If you remove the surrounding bolts on each of these a seperate piece is removed which is part of the head!!

even a idle. It passes fine a high revs?!! How can it mean the engine is f**ed?!! What could be wrong with it and is it repairable????

just for your info, the fast idle speed readings were as follows:
CO 0.21%vol
HC 44 ppm
Lambda 1.00

you mean the carriers? why are you even looking at these? they don't leak unless someone has loosned the to see.

Idle co of that magnitude either means injectors are jammed open or damaged or its burning oil. Normally though the HC's would be through the roof as well unless you still have a cat.

You can get anything to pass a high idle speed with relative ease.I have seen a few with the high idle being 6900rpm to get it to pass lol
