Are they all the same? the one from gsf is for an r19 doesnt say about a 16v one.
part no.R76004 same as the espace? |

Last time i replaced one the 16v's was the same as the other 19's |

theres 2 types, theres the efi cable and non efi cable. The Efi cables have the road speed sensor on them which you need. |

can the road speed sensor plasticy bit on the end of the cable be removed from an efi one and bodged onto a non-efi one? |

well i think i bugger mine pulling it out of the box...didnt just break the plastic clips it pulled the lump of metal off the end of the cable...now if i had that lump i would find a way maybe to stick it on but at the mo i cannot find it.
so i was thnking, cheap non-efi new cable, and put the RSS onto it...
cant be that hard surely? |

right it arrived today, its got a white plastic bit on one end, im assuming this is the speedo end, and ive got a metal end, i personally dont remember seeing the metal end on the broken cable, but maybe its just me. |

right well i didnt realise it had a speed sensor, so thayve sent me the worng one, now i have to go to renault in taunton, with a car in pieces, which is interesing, having the dials sitting on top of the steering coloum, now the lights dont work on the computer either! im getting pissed off with this car! |
