 speedo cable routing

how is it routed behind the dash ?? i routed it behind the heater controls and it seems to be reaching behind the instrument panel nicely ,is this correct or is there a shorter cut???

its supposed to go up and over the heater box.

well as long as its in and working, cant do any damage it will be ok.

thats as gypo as it gets mate, I wouldn't be surprised if the needle starts bouncing a lot.

the muppet that had my chammy before me drilled a hole beside the battery to pass the cable through!

lol u must have actually tried hard to get it there...i think mine has ended up near the original position, just not clamped...theres a gap somewhere...cant see, only feel, its not clamped tho

the main problem will be the broken white clip holding the speedo cable to the ins. panel me thinks , i just stuck the speedo plug into the instrument panel so the securing clip doesnot exist anymore . it looks quite tight and wont be able to get out ,fingers crossed
