 speedo not working!!!

if you dont damage it taking it out, trust me its a bastard to do aswell. took me 4 hours! i bout a new cable as my one was screwed.

ok then any advice on removing them with out breaking them lol or should i just say to the scrap yard ill pay for a working un broken one lol

ok ill try and put mine back in 1st and c if it will catch back together then ill try and remove the end and then well ill probbaly be well peeeeeed off by then and give up and drive like a granddad till one pops up

soak the speedo drive in loads of wd40 overnight for a start Wink

any injected 19's speedo cable is the right one and the clios will fit as well.

well for now i have pushed it back in and its working again fine no problems as jet ill keep u posted over next couple of days if anything else goes wrong

all i got to do now is get rid of the hesitation its got from 2750-3500rpm any ideas as to why this is??? it just splutters kangeroos then once past 3500 pulls like it should

you checked the plug wells for water in them?

wheni changed plugs wk end they were surprzingly clean Shocked

but the plugs i took out were really sooty

takes a few turns of starter to kick in prob about 15-20 odd seconds of turing

15-20 od seconds is a long time to fire! 5 or so at most is about right

get a new CTS on there me thinks.

dont get it from Renault, they want over £20 for them, go to GSF, they do them for about £8
