[font=Times New Roman][/font] Speedometer on my Renault Megane X Reg Diesel is playing before it used to give reading sometimes now it has stopped completely. Speed reading is taken from ABS tough ECM (Central Computer) I suspect cable between speedometer and ECM is not carrying signal properly.
Any one can help me with this? if you could email wiring diagram of speed that will be brilliant. |

you sure its from the ABS rings? X reg should still have the sender on the box for the speedo. |

the speed signal is pioggybacked off the ABS ring, so if it wasn;t workign then there woudl be an ABS light up. However grease if theres a dodgy CV can affect it, so make sure the rings are clean and give them a gentle wire brushign if they are rusty.
Does the rev counter work properly? The earth for the speedo and rev counter sender is on the engine |

Rev counter works fine, its only speedometer which is playing, before i use to shake the wire a little in the black box next to battery and it used to work for a couple of weeks, now this trick doesnt seems to work.
where about is earth point exactly for rev counter and speedo i try looking if its rusty. |
