I've located where the squeek is coming from but just don't know what it is! It's above the shocker where the little rubber nipple is, and I looked at the passenger side one where there seems to be more rubber around where there a couple of bolts. I know this'll be better with a picture, so I'll get my digicam and take a pic for you guys, but any help would be much appreciated!

My bad I didn't make it clear enough, I meant the front strut, not the shocker! I shall get a picture tomorrow though! |

might be pointing you in the wrong direction but ive fit coil springs and theyve been noisey so i put a smear of grease where the spring sits and it stops it,maybe worth a try on where you think its coming from |

How much are the top mounts, because it does look like some of the rubber is missing, I tried tightening the nuts up too but they were effin tight.

lol ive only had one 19 without cracked top mounts, Renault even changed some of them for at service time... its a well known fault.. |

it was a recall on top mounts.
standard cars are fine on the recall mounts, lowered ones crack em eventually though and kill th ebump stops as well. |

need a new one and pronto mofo
ren only. Will prob be cheaper to get a 2nd hand comlete good strut. |
