Righ i'm discovering the vast differences of the hatch to the cab the most recent being the addition of the alarm. in the cab i had a key immobiliser in the glove box on the hatch i have one by the battery and one under the heater controls [where the stero fascia holder is] is this standard?
i ask because while round my mates i pulled up, locked the car and left the sunroof open, we're chattign and i notice my hazards start flashing, no noise and for aparently no reason, they stop and we investigate, i stick my hand through the sunroof thinking it my be the alarm and they go off again, now my question is is this the standard setup and if so where is the sirne for it as if i have an operational alarm i would like it making noise when it goes off!
many thanks

It's a piece of shit, I have my siren disabled too, as it goes off randomly sometimes.

i binned the standard alarm, utter shit it is.

I've installed a toad alarm system but the led scanner is a bit too knight riderish for my liking, its got seven red leds in a row which scan back and forth.
I am thinking i need to replace that sometime soon lol
