please help
my renault 19 its very moody sometimes i go to it and when i turn the key it sounds like a flat battery,other times it spins over like a good un.
I replaced the battery and starter motor ( breakers yard) and still getting same problem.  |

dodgy connections i would say.
Add another earth lead from the battery to the shell, then one to the engine.
Bit the renault screw downs if you still have them. Halfords sell proper battery clamps cheaply and they make a difference.
Do that then see what happens. |
