Exactly what Chris said. As i said to someone in the office this morning you cant expect to play around all day with things that will kill you at the first given oppurtunity and then be suprised when one of them does!

i must agree whenever he was on TV i was always thinking, go on, get 'im! but however, for some reason i still feel a little sad, because he was always enthusiastic and he did die doing what he thoroughly enjoyed, so RIP Stevie boy.

As has been said, it was always a possibility with what he did. The ironic thing is that he was always taunting these really dangerous animals, but in the end he got killed by a creature that has only ever killed 1 or 2 people in austrailia. Apparently it wasn't the venom that killed him, it was just that it pierced him right through the heart. He was always good for a watch so it's a pity he's gone, but as said he went doing what he enjoyed most.

As I saw someone say on another forum, what are the chance his last words were "lets see what happens if we poke it in the eye with a sharp stick", lol.

They are talking about showing his last moments on TV - When he gets hit, and pulls the dart from his chest, moments before loosing consciousness...

Not sure what to think about that.

in the papers it says his wish was for his demise to be shown on TV and his family have given the go ahead.

Bit ghoulish though.
